Dr. Glaccum grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. Attended Tucker High School and then did his undergraduate studies at Mercer University. He has always loved sports, participating in football, baseball and golf. Dr. Glaccum has two daughers, Lauren Glaccum who is a junior at University of Georgia and Gracie Glaccum who is attending school at Jerger Elementry in Thomasville Ga. He is a member of Thomasville First United Methodist Church and has been active in community events.
Dr. Glaccum attended Life Chirpractic College in Atlanta, Ga graduating in 1986. He remains active in the Georgia Chiropractic Association and is presently serving on the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He is also a past member of the Board of Directors for the Georgia Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Glaccums clinical expertise lies in the realm of sports injuries (acute and chronic), chronic pain management, acute pain management, and the effects of nutrition on pain and inflammation. His treatment is heavily centered on patient education by emphasizing rehabilitative strategies and home exercise recommendations to keep you active! Dr. Glaccums knowledge and dedication have resulted in much success in the treatment of acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders of the full spine and extremities. Dr. Glaccum subscribes to the belief that knowledge is power, and strives to educate each of his patients on the measures they can take to not only decrease their current level of pain but increase their quality of life in the future.
